The Nature Detective Club, also known as the N.D.C, was founded by a group of students to help with environmental issues, and educate people about the needs of our planet.

During recess, a group of students discovered trees that had been cut down, roots torn from the ground, and burnt fungi scattered about. One student felt a strong urge to create change, leading to the formation of the N.D.C. Together, we set out to make a difference.

We have raised over $1,000 through bake sales at the Tenafly Nature Center! We plan to use these funds for community clean-ups, tree planting, and donating to help animals in need. We believe that caring for the environment benefits us all. By protecting trees, we improve air quality and support the food chain. Damaging this delicate balance puts our world at risk. We're actively addressing air and water pollution, and we strive to minimize plastic waste from entering our atmosphere and oceans.
